Carrie Norton has been following after Jesus ever since she can remember, but didn't really get on the right track until 1996. In that year, the Lord filled her with His Holy Spirit and changed her from a rebellious child kicking and screaming to a woman desperately clinging to Him.

In a transformation that saved her marriage and her life, she learned to rely
on His Word, to speak to circumstances and expect them to line up with His will and to submit to His authority and discipline in every situation.

After teaching Sunday School and leading worship at a small country Baptist church for many years, the Lord released Carrie and her family from that assignment and planted them at Church of the Open Door in Bellmead, TX where they have been active participants.  In late 2008, she began to serve as President of the Waco Lighthouse of Aglow International. She is honored to have been asked to be President of the new Lighthouse in Hillsboro.

Carrie and her husband Jeff have been married most of the time since 1979 and have one son still at home, three grown daughters and nine  grandchildren.
